Tattoo’s, pincushions and rock music were the main themes at the stunning wedding. Tania is a fun-loving, eccentric character with a fabulous bubbly personality and wanted to create a unique and different wedding inspired by her husband’s tattoos and musical passion. For the flowers, we used the orange Protea Pincushions as the main flower of choice with orange and white roses and mixed seasonal flowers. The ceremony took place on the lawn against the picturesque backdrop of the Hout Bay Mountains. To bring in a retro feel, we used mixed orange, grey and white paper circles to create a curtain which was hung from our wooden gazebo. The theme then continued with paper heartstrings on the back of each guest’s chairs which looked amazing against the green grass. Instead of name cards, the guest had to find their photo which was made into paper dolls and given as gifts to each guest. For the table centrepieces, we used wooden slices with a mix of old tins, consol jars, brown and blue bottles, and fishbowls filled with dessert roses, pincushions proteas, roses and blushing brides… and the menu’s were printed on old vinyl LP’s to finish the look!
