Thank you so much for all that you did for Thomas and my wedding. Your flowers and décor were stunning, to say the least. The guests kept asking me who did the décor and flowers!!! The bouquets were some of the most unique I've seen and exactly what I envisioned and wanted. My bouquet now takes pride in our Cape Town house as it's an array of beautiful dried flowers. You listened and understood our vision of as little as possible of waste and the dried flowers were a hit. The different colors, the Sewe Jaartjies, Pampas and all the different flowers that were used was just amazing! The centerpieces of shells, dried flowers, candles and larger arrangements for all the guest tables were beautiful. The placemats, the wall décor etc, etc, etc, our main table, WOW Dini. Dankie Dankie Dankie. Everywhere I looked I saw only beauty and originality. I loved your use of earth tones, sage, mints, creams, whites so unique!!! Thank you so much for working with us and Thekla to bring our vision to life! It was our pleasure to have the opportunity to work with you during 2021, on Sunday 02 2022 and a pandemic. I look forward to referring you to more clients in the future- I know they will be as blown away with your work as we were!! Thanks again!

Amazingness is My Pretty Vintage!

Where do I even start with the amazingness that is My Pretty Vintage!? We first met Dinie, Elizabeth, and the rest of the team via email through our wedding coordinator and felt like we hit it off right away! After a few short emails briefly explaining what we had in mind for flowers and décor, we quickly received a reply with a quote along with further detailed questions about more specifics. Throughout the process of planning My Pretty Vintage was always available for questions via email or phone and were also more than happy to do a mock table with us to get a better idea of what we liked. They weren’t afraid to make suggestions (which we were happy to hear. After all, they are the professionals and have done waaayyy more wedding than us!) but were also open to our ideas as well. We absolutely loved working with the whole team, and they truly made planning fun and exciting <3 The day of the wedding could not have turned out more beautiful, and we definitely have My Pretty Vintage for that. And while I think any couple can agree that planning a wedding can often be stressful, My Pretty Vintage genuinely made our wedding day stress free. We never had to worry about any problems (because if there was one, we certainly didn’t know about it!), and they set up like true professionals. All the many colours were perfect, and the flowers, coloured glass pieces, and other décor were absolutely stunning. Our guests raved and raved about how gorgeous it was! Our day could not have turned out more perfect, and I think the pictures speak for themselves! So there you have it. If you’re looking for a florist / décor stylist and our on the fence, I give My Pretty Vintage two very big thumbs up!!

The Best Décor Team A Girl Could Ask For

The best decor team a girl could ask for leading up to (and of course, including) her wedding day. Their work was top shelf, and we were so impressed. They executed my vision for a cultural symphony so effortlessly. It took a few takes (and a couple of ladders), but I really think that it was so worth the trouble! Our guests can not stop raving about how spectacular everything looked; how it all came together. I still feel like I'm in a bit of a dream state, remembering that perfect pop of pink - the bougainvillea was everything. I think all three of our traditions and cultures were woven seamlessly into the look and feel of the day, and that is truly special. Angie, Dinie and Elizabeth were kind and patient through all the back and forths, and their excellent service calmed me down and made me feel like everything is under control. Thanks!
